The 60th International Art Exhibition entitled Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere, which in the 2024 edition hosts ninety national participations and thirty Collateral Events, constitutes a hymn to the multiformity of art in every corner of the world and acts as a spokesperson for the artists of that "global South" that the Brazilian curator Adriano Pedrosa feels he represents. The Exhibition, located between the Giardini, the Arsenale, the Polveriera Austriaca di Forte Marghera and the numerous Collateral Events venues scattered throughout the city, is an unmissable opportunity to explore the artistic universe that has developed on the edge of a general system predominantly centered on Europe and North America, amidst changing crises and contradictions, and discovering that, each in our own way, we are all foreigners. Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere is the Bienniale of surprises, outsiders, indigenous, queer, folk and self-taught artists and much more.
