After the End. Narrative Architectures and New Humanity

© Riccardo Burchielli

Signing the works on display are the well-known graphic novelists Bonvi, Riccardo Burchielli, Manuele Fior, Gabriella Giandelli, Gipi and Daniel Žeželj, artists very different from each other in styles and genres, through comics they imagine new future scenarios "post event", from profound symbolic meaning resulting from the difficult period linked to the planetary health emergency. Whether dystopian, surreal, psychological or even comic, the different graphic novels tell us stories that begin "after the end" of something, despite the paradox present in the title page of the famous graphic novel by Gipi - recently transposed to the cinema with the homonymous film directed by Claudio Cupellini - which reads "But after the end, no more books were written".
