An exhibition that reconstructs the artistic and human solidarietà between the famous Italian actress Eleonora Duse and the composer, man of letters and intellectual Arrigo Boito. A relationship that went on for 34 years, between 1884 and 1918, and, here, is narrated through letters, mostly never-before-seen documents, copies of the Shakespearian texts of Anthony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth, of which Arrigo Boito worked on the translation and adaptation based on the artistic peculiarities of Eleonora Duse, autographs, notes, drafts and original photos.
