On display fascinating drawings, almost five hundred years old, offer an interesting excursus on the Vinci artist's production, documenting the scientific research carried out over a lifetime, with studies of proportion of the human body, botany, optics, physics, mechanics, oplology and ballistics. Next to the twenty-five Leonardo's autograph Fogli held by the Venetian Museum, such as the preparatory studies for the famous Battle of Anghiari, the Sant'Anna with the Virgin and Child and above all the famous Vitruvian Man, are exposed other important Sheets of the Renaissance genius, loaned exceptionally from the Royal Collection of Windsor Castle, the National Gallery in Washington, the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
