Pei's World. A Brief History of a Chinese Gallery in Italy
The collective entitled Pei's World - A Brief History of a Chinese Gallery in Italy tells the story of Peishuo Yang and his artists who came to Venice from the four corners of the globe together with a courageous pioneer gallerist - Pei for friends - who left the China to realize its "Italian dream" of studying Literature and Philosophy, graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and founding a gallery that would act as a bridge between Italy and China. In 2013, the enterprising Pei from the center of Florence moves to Milan by opening MA-EC, a very special gallery, a true interactive platform, a center for international meetings to enhance creativity and exchanges between the West and the East, which today has its new headquarters in Palazzo Durini, in the heart of the city. The artists represented by Pei are: Afran (Cameroon), Jorge Cavelier (Colombia), Ma Cong (China), Huiming Hu (China), Tannaz Lahiji (Iran), Giorgio Piccaia (Italy).
